Gold Price Rises by Rs 2,300 Per Tola in Kathmandu

Kathmandu: The price of gold has seen a significant increase in the local market today. The cost of the yellow metal has surged by Rs 2,300 per tola (11.66 grams) compared to Wednesday.

As of today, hallmark gold is being traded at Rs 140,500 per tola, up from Rs 138,200 the previous day. Similarly, worked gold is priced at Rs 139,800 per tola, a rise of Rs 2,250 from Rs 137,550 on Wednesday.

The price of silver has also seen an uptick, increasing by Rs 70 per tola to Rs 2,000, up from Rs 1,930 on Wednesday, according to the Federation of Gold and Silver Dealers Association.
